grants funds each year for organisations in Auckland and Northland communities. They focus on bringing positive change in the community through supporting innovative projects and practices.

Ministry Of Education

Support early childhood learning alongside their parents in an informal environment to build strong foundation for the child’s well-being.

Community Organisation Grants Scheme (COGS)

provides grants to non – profit organisations working towards community social services.  

  • Encouraging participation in the community

  • Promote social, economic and cultural equity.

  • Support children and youth development.

  • Providing services to older adults.

The Puketapapa Local Board

  • Value ethnic diversity

  • Support local events and organisations to connect and build shared identity amongst diverse ethnic communities

  • Strengthening communities by celebrating diverse culture and heritage, to bring the diverse community together.

  • Caring to ensure a safer community.

  • Providing opportunities for children and youth to bring them together and overcome cultural barriers.

The Lion Foundation

Support early childhood learning alongside their parents in an informal environment to build strong foundation for the child’s well-being.

Grassroots Trust

Was established to provide funds to organisations working for the welfare of the community.

  • Support families and community for early years and youth development.

Lottery Grants Board

  • Aims to maximise the community benefits to ensure to contribute towards building strong sustainable communities together.

  • Promote community wellbeing

  • Promote community participation, inclusion and identity.

  • Education and support services

The Auckland Council

Provides grants to application which are aligned with the council’s priorities like:

  • Supporting & strengthening cultural/ diverse communities.

  • Unify diversity by celebrating diverse culture and traditions to bring people together as a strong community.

  • Empowering and supporting the youth and seniors to make them feel safe, inclusive and promote their active participation in the community.  

  • Promote better health and well-being in the community.

  • Work with government to support the people in distressed situations.

BlueSky Community Trust Ltd.

is a non-profit organisation which operates gaming machines to raise funds for the community.
 

They raise funds for various activities for the benefit of the community such as raising funds for cultural and arts festivals, children’s education etc.,
